About these

The two grips, and how to choose

Coated or painted rigs that feel smooth take the UltraGrip+, our chalkless pair. Bare or rough steel where you would normally chalk up takes the HyperGrip+. The rig decides it, not your ability, and athletes who train in more than one gym often keep both in the bag.

Why the sweatbands are in the box

MagnaSafe holds the grips flat on your wrist between movements. The sweatbands are magnet compatible, so they work with that system rather than getting in its way, which is why a pair comes with every grip.

Common questions

Yes. They are sold separately as well as coming with the grips, in two versions, with and without magnets, so they work whether or not you use MagnaSafe.

Both pairs are. Your fingertips stay on the bar, so you keep the feel of it through pull ups, toes to bar and muscle ups, and there is less material to bunch up in your palm.

Only if you train on both kinds of rig. One coated gym and one bare steel gym is the usual reason people own both. If you only train in one place, buy the pair that suits that rig.
