About these

What to buy first

Most athletes start with whatever is failing first. If the bar bends your wrists back, wraps. If your knees complain the day after squats, sleeves. If your lower back is the limit on a heavy clean, a belt. Buying in that order beats buying a full set at once.

Support is not the same as bracing

None of this replaces position. A belt gives you something to brace against, it does not brace for you. Sleeves add compression and warmth, they do not make a knee stronger. Used that way the kit earns its place. Used as a substitute it hides the thing you should be fixing.

Where each one lives

Both VOLT belts sit together in weightlifting belts. The fabric wraps, the elastic wraps and the lifting straps sit together in wrist support and lifting straps. Both knee sleeves sit in knee sleeves.

Common questions

Fewer than most people buy. A belt for heavy squats, cleans and deadlifts, sleeves if your knees complain after squatting, wraps if the bar bends your wrists back. Start with whichever is limiting you rather than buying a full set.

Wraps support the wrist joint under a press or an overhead lift. Straps tie your hands to the bar so grip stops being the limit on deadlifts and heavy rows. They solve different problems and are not interchangeable.

Yes, and plenty do for heavy squats. Take them off for the rest of the session though. Kit worn all day stops doing much, and you stop noticing when you actually need it.
