Why 4 inches

Four inches is the working width for functional fitness. Deep enough to brace against through a heavy squat or clean, shallow enough that it does not dig in when you fold at the hip. Both VOLT belts are 4 inches, with a buckle doing the main work and velcro backing it up.

Getting the size right

Belts run 2XS to 2XL. Measure around where the belt will actually sit, above the hip bone and below the ribs, rather than going by trouser size. Personalised belts cannot be returned, so it is worth measuring twice.
