About these

5mm or 7mm

Thickness is a trade between support and movement. The 5mm ProFlex bends with you, which is what you want across a long workout with a lot of squatting, lunging and running. The 7mm ProMax is stiffer and gives more back out of the bottom of a heavy squat, at the cost of some freedom.

Sizing and fit

Both come in five sizes, XS to XL. A sleeve should be tight enough to stay put through a set without you thinking about it. If it slides down it is too big, and a sleeve that has slipped is doing nothing at all.

Common questions

5mm for high rep training, where you are squatting, lunging and running and want the knee to move freely. 7mm for heavy squats, where the extra stiffness gives more support out of the bottom. Plenty of athletes end up owning both.

Snug. They should take some effort to pull on and then stay where you put them for a whole session. If a sleeve slides down your leg it is too big, and once it has slipped it is not supporting anything.

No. Sleeves pull on and give consistent compression and warmth across a session. Wraps are wound tight for a single heavy lift and taken straight off. Sleeves are what most functional fitness athletes want.
